Cats question...

Hey GUys,

I just fried my right cat and the third cat and its gonna cost 1000 to fix it, new Y pipe is like 800 bucks! So I was wondering if I could just cut a new cat in to the right and then put a straight pipe where the third one is.

I know nothing about the emissions regulations where you are, but if they're not too bad, check Summit Racing.

Personally, I'd do this and lose the third cat, run a midmount DIDO and call it a day. I'm actually working on an off the shelf solution for the piping from the muffler back using off the shelf parts for under 200 bones.

Mods? Do the ones in the garage waiting to go on the car count?

Many thanks to my fellow Veterans; I am honored to be a part of your ranks.

No, it is not 50 state legal. Nothing is legal in California.

Those greenpeace hippimobiles run on Unicorn Farts and Happy Thoughts. And the people at berkley are smart, open minded and foreward thinking socialists. Bow down you oil addicted money mongers!!!! LOL.
