Y pipe help

I have a 97 4.6 and a 94 4.6 that is going to be donated. I thought I read some where that the Ypipe isn't interchangable between the two cars? Yet Magnaflow sells one model for all the 4.6 MN12s! If this is useable could someone tell me the easiest way to removing it? So far, I am thinking a torch for all bolts, my snapon long flex for the easy to reach and an 18" extention to get them off the manifolds! Help!

They are interchangable. Just use PB Blaster or some kind of penetrating oil, a 15mm deep socket, some extensions and a u-joint.
