stock exhaust pipe size?

is the stock exhaust pipes 2.5 for v8 96

its 2", then 2 1/4" then 2 1/2" back into 2 1/4"

so it ends in 2 1/4 inch
i want to get some mufflers and i dont have my bird on me its in maryland
and ive got stock pipes for the most part but i think someone put these bend pipes for those bodykits on mine i have no mufflers and cant figure out what size the pipe would be

if i get mufflers with a 2.5 inlet could i make it worth with like a clamp or something or welding

Do you already have 2.5" in / 2.5" out mufflers? You can get 2.25" in / 2.5" out mufflers if you want. Can't you have someone near the car go measure the pipe with a measuring tape or a ruler? Then you can get what fits and not have to worry.
