dnomax catback?

any actual hp or seat of the pants gain w/a dynomax catback system
on a 94-7 4.6 cougar. i know you get a better sound. had one on
a 94 years ago. thanks --irv

Nope. Just sound, your restriction is in the cats. So long as the stockers are there all you're gonna get is sound.

anyone try the magnaflow y pipe. supposed to have hiflow cats.
i assume the stock system has two precats and the main one.
i know they used to say ford cats on the mustangs were one of the
best systems out there. you didnt gain much w/aftermarket stuff unless highly
modified. course they also had true duals.

I used to have the dynomax system on my '94 4.6. Take out the resonator and the cats and it will give you a noticable gain (I gutted the exhaust before I put the dynomax system on, so I got a good before and after feel) but IMO the turbo style mufflers the system comes with are just way to quiet for my taste.
