Anyone ever try Flowmaster 3-chamber "slim" mufflers mid-mounted?

I was looking at these:

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/se...3x10&sc3=&sc4=

And thought they'd make a good mid-mounted muffler if you want to use two. They are only 3" tall and I think would make an awesome exhaust project, especially when using Kooks.

Flowmasters sound wayyyyy better closer to the engine rather than far outback in the rear so that's why so many people are disappointed with the rear setup.

I'm willing to give it a try soon to see how it comes out

It would probably be fine as far as space is concerned, but in the end-you'd still have a chokemaster/dronemaster on your car.

Chokemaster is right! I know quite a few guys who are running header-evac (I have helped install). Flowmasters kill it and I am talking two chamber not three. Magnaflows work great. I am sure any thru-style muffler would be fine.
