quick question

has any body hollowed out there muffler? not the cats or res. the muffler...

Beater lx,current mods: cold air,drilled and slotted rotors,glass pack muffler. Scrapped
Teal terror 94...trans slip and a fram air hog filter!
94 Sc :Cobra R hood,96-97 Front lights,3.73 Trac Lok,1" Raised top,5% OD Blower Pulley,CAI,Removed resonator,Gutted cats,No mufflers. "It roams around in a open loop speed density tune. killing small children and raping helpless mothers at night."

That was probably one of the first things I did when I first got my Tbird.

Long story short, it's a real time-waster.

im guessing it sounded bad? how do you think it'd sound on a 3.8

Riceriffic.

Rather than hollow one out (and suffer the performance penalties that causes), why not replace them with straight pipes - or at worst, glasspacks?

It would sound bad on a V8, a V6 is even pickier when it comes to exhaust sound.
