dynomax vt mufflers

has anybody heard anything on these vt mufflers from dynomax

1994 Black Thunderbird LX 4.6L V8
Mods Done:Cold Air Intake,Air Silencer Delete, J-Mod,Suspenion Rebuild,MkVIII Driveshaft, & 3 In Dual Exhaust.

Yes me and RobertP have discussed them in the past , Nice setup but the spring & flapper may bring problems due to rust & such

is there anything you can do to prevent them from corrosion like making a sheild to cover the mufflers to keep rain from getting in.

1998 Mustang GT premium. Trans Go shift kit, Bassani catted x-pipe, PI heads, cams, intake swap, Accufab elbow, SCT Xcal 4 tune, Eibach Pro-kit, Maximum Motorsports Caster/camber plates, fat tires. Banging audio system.

yeah I mean, let it dry first. The dry film should keep water off of it. I didn't realize the valve was on the inside though, I thought it was something external.
