94 original

I took a swipe at the exhaust tips the other day and found with a little effort, they started to clean and shine up pretty nice.I went a step further and got the die grinders out and dremel and before long, both mufflers were clean and shiny,as were the tips. The mufflers had the Dearborn Ford Logo stamp and were virtually free of rust, withe the number J93-2199Rand 3341-W.Not sure if they're original, but a magnet sticks right to em.Is there something I can put on them to preserve them awhile longer,as they seem to be in solid shape? Thanks.

If they're good after 19 years, that means they're stainless steel, so... no, there's no need to do anything to preserve them.

The rear of the exhaust is in great shape on my 96, the area under the car from the cats to the split at the rear by the diff is pretty rusty though.
