Opinions needed

I was searching Amazon and found a Dynomax cat back system w/ 2.5 in pipe and dual super turbo mufflers for around 300.00 or I could get just the mufflers for about 200.00, Is the extra 100.00 worth it for a stock motor. I imagine the larger pipe would help a little with performance and sound. Any Thoughts?, Thanks, Mike

I would pick it up, the mandrel bends kit is approximately the same price iirc without the mufflers. The mandel bends kit does come with an x pipe though, not the greatest x pipe, I had to hog mine out when I got it. DynoMax has a nice sound to them, its no Borla, but still have a nice tone. You may also notice slight gain, not much though. Find some high flow cats if you want less restriction.

My powerplant puts out pretty good with the mandrel system and the ST's , They flow fairly good for what they are. I used to have the dynomax cat-back system your looking at. I think Rodeo Joe still has his system.

Sure do!
It's a nice system Mike, a little more rumble than stock when you first put it on. It's gets a little bit louder over time, nothing crazy. My loud exhaust days are over!

Joe

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!
