Exhaust Manifold Gaskets.

Im getting ready to install a set of Braincoated manifolds on my car and didnt know if anyone had any good recommendations on what gaskets to use, i put fel pro on when i installed motor and there leaking, Ive found the ford racing paper gaskets but someone has also mentioned that ford makes metal gaskets.

Out of Commision 95 LX- Parting Out
95 XR-7, PBR Brakes, Trac-Loc with 3:55, Mustang hub swap with Bullitts, Forged PI to COME....
03 Chevy 2500 HD Dirtymax
01 Mustang Gt, Minor bolt onsss, sitting a little lower than most.....

Why not just use the OEM metal gaskets? That's what I used, no issues.

Can you still get the oem from the dealer then?

They are around 80 bucks my cost

But I've got a set of brand new oem metal ones 50 shipped or u Can get the felpro ones like 10 bucks just use copper coat never had any issues

yep, the factory style steel faced gaskets work real nice with a little copper coat sealer on them. you can also make your own from 1/8" copper or aluminum sheet as well. if you use the copper or aluminum sheet, the gaskets are reusable.

my mind is aglow with whirling transient nodes of thought careening through s comic vapor of invention.

The Ford Part Number for these are: YC2Z-9448-CA (YC2Z9448CA)

There is only 1 Gasket per package..

These cost $120 from the dealer for all 4 gaskets..If you go OEM..Rob has an excellent price on them..

Yeesh I never priced those out separately... Just goes to show how much of a steal the FRPP head changing kit is. You still pay $120 for the manifold gaskets but you'll get head gaskets and bolts too

I went with copper. kept blowing out the felpro metal faced ones.

But I do run hard & hott!! with a 351W

Last race I hit 280*
