Does anyone still make/sell shorty headers for the 96-97 4,6L TBird?

JBA is still making shorty headers for the 94-97 4.6L MN12..

JBA 4.6L MN12 Shorty Headers

I think the consensus among the 4.6L crowd here is they are not worth the $$$..

In fact I think someone even went so far as to say they made less power using the JBA's than the stock logs??

Yeah, considering the money spent and effort involved with installation... don't bother. The only benefit they offer is they look better than logs.

I have a set of the stock manifolds that tbirdbrain ported and coated; the flow numbers on those were better than everything except the kooks, iirc.

Seems like RobertP used to run them on his fast drag car, But I'm not sure.

Those are no longer availble.

I'd port the stockers before I bought anything less than long tubes, personally.

And LT's, that's a different fitment problem than shortys entirely; why cross that bridge until you have to burn it down, lol.

Thanks for all the info. I had no plans to add headers at this time, just wanted to know.
