Okay... in NC the 96 models have to be hooked up to the computer for inspection. I was curious to know if I removed the resonator/3rd cat if I would fail emissions testing and what not. I just want a louder exhaust and I can't afford to do true dual with new mufflers at the moment so I was thinking just removing the resonator and putting a pipe there. Also how does this sound anyway?
the v8's have no resonator, so you'd be removing the 3rd cat only, and im pretty sure you would pass emissions testing with it, but fail visual inspection. sound wise....wouldnt change much.
Really, well, I guess you learn something new everyday.
