......anyway, is this anything to really worry about? i want to end up getting headders sometime in the next few months, would i be able to wait that long or is my car going to blow up or something? heh. is there anything i can do to help it?

I'd try and snug it up atleast, but it could wait if you don't mind the noise.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. If you're smelling the exhaust in the car its not safe to drive. It won't "blow up" or anything, but you could lose conciousness. Not fun while driving trust me, been there done that.

I have the same problem... I need to check the gaskets and change them just in case. When I did the exploder swap, I re-used the gaskets when I had new ones. But I member tightening well the header. It could be the EGR too, well, at least in my case.. I wont find out in like 3 weeks or so!!
