Will I lose or gain sound?

I was curious, I already have a single exhaust with a high flow cat and 40 series flowmaster. If I were to put a Y-pipe from the cat into 2 flowmasters, would I lose or gain sound? Pitch?

for the price of doing all that, i don't knowif it wil be worth it....granted it is a 3.8, u may gain a little more sound but like i said the gain of that sound to the price u will spend to get it i don't think evens out
