Hey ART

Has anyone been able to get in touch with speedfreak? I have been trying to get them on the phone for a couple days and their voicemail picks up the phone.

Actually No, I haven't either. I called Monday, left a message, and haven't heard back. I had placed an order with him a few weeks ago, just wanted to get an update....I guess I'll try again later this week.

Have you tried his email? I haven't just another suggestion.

Nick, I ordered the same setup you ordered about the same time. Please PM me if you receive it or hear anything and I'll do the same.

Thanks

Same here. I have the kooks and I have to wait to install until I can get the rest of the system. Maybe we should try to send him PM's.

That is what I have to complete. I spoke to him several months ago and he said that he couldn't gaurantee that his exhaust would match where the kooks were. I just want his tubing kit so that I can have my exhaust guy cut and weld as he pleases.

Well, his email to me the other day was that my order was "the pipes have all been bent up, and i know some of them have been placed in the jig finished up."

So it sounds like he is still doing it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he will do it without the mufflers. I thought he told me $550 without...but don't quote me on it.

OUCH.....It's a nice system, but I think I'll piece my own together for less than half that.

If I get my headers on and I still haven't talked to him, I will be piecing my own together. I just would rather miss the welding around each and every bend.

I bought the piping kit with no mufflers, down pipes or cats for $285 a little over a year ago.

the bolt-on system is $550 + $45 shipping with out mufflers, the piping kit is $320 + $35 shipping with out mufflers. The piping kit starts right after the the 2 main cats where as the bolt-on kit bolts right to the manifold. This is what Dan told me a few weeks back.

550 isn't that bad in my oppinion. Mandrel bent and Stainless steel... I think I'll be switching to it when I can get the money... my exhaust has this weird rasp in it... Dunno whats up with that. I'm thinking of taking it to a shop and having them move the mufflers back a little bit and redoing the exits.

Nope, it wouldn't be if for that price it were in fact stainless steel....but it's not. You've got to tack on another $200.00 if you want it in stainless.

I think I'll just end up going with the standard piping with no mufflers for $320 and adding the rest of the system later on, which I can justify spending another chunk of change.
