It would be really loud, and probably sound like crap (depends on your taste). The bad thing would be is that it's probably gonna feel like you have 10,000lbs. in your trunk. I had 2.25 catless duals to a di/do muffler dumped after the muffler, and I had to floor it just to get my car to move.

It shouldn't be any louder because your not removing any muffling devices. It could possibly even quiet it down. As long as you keep your 2 main cats you shouldn't lose any power. I would suggest a dynomax race magnum instead of a glasspack.

not true ive done this and if he removes his exhaust from the cat back then it will be considerably louder and deeper.due to the fact he is takeing the 2 inch pipes off of there.wont sound to bad at idle or even part throttle but at WOT it gets annoying.but it is pretty much what ever your taste is.

Can't help ya but performance curve is a great sourse. I bought my Magnaflow through them and was very satisfied with the price and service.

He already has no mufflers though and hes adding a glasspack.

I don't blame you for reading it wrong. I had a hard time trying to read it myself. v8thunderbird, I'm not trying to be an a$$ but its kind of hard to read your typing man. Complete sentences are key.
Also, back to your question, I beleive it would be 2.25" single after the third cat.
