No mufflers

Anyone have a sound clip of a 4.6 bird or cougar with just the mufflers removed or know what it would sound like?

Mods please move this to the exhaust forum

as for the question personally it doesnt sound to bad until you get on it then it sounds like a swarm of bees taking off its really annoying. If you want good sound i would go for a dual setup. Do a search and youll find tons of threads on setups

Thanks for the tip. I'll look for some high flow mufflers.

yeah, don't do it. When i cut...umm....when my third cat went bad and i had to remove it I drove around for a while with the exhaust dumping where the 3d cat was, it was LOUD!! and dronned alot!. Also lost a lot of low end power. I would imagine it would sound almost the same with it dumping at the rear of the car.
