anyone have an exhaust cutout

Hey are any of you guys running a cutout on your bird? I have a 4.6 bird and i think the sound of an open exhaust would sound cool but then you could revert back to stock when you needed or wanted it quiet.

Garage
Im getting a setup soon on my bird, thinking about strait pipes in back and replacing the cats with pipes. It would be clamped on so i could go back and stick the converters on when i go for emissions.

God Bless the men & women who have served and serving to keep us free

don't think it would be too hard....could...somehow if wanted have them come off manifolds y off and side exit right behind front rires but then the rest of exhaust goes length of car.....having cats and muffs after the y off in front.

i could be wrong lol

most people talk, but few are up for the moment

thats kinda what i was going to do on my combo, but cant justify 350+ and not really gain anything especially using shorties and catted xpipe. for maybe what an extra 5hp. i mean it would be cool to roll up on so unsuspeting ls1 or 2 and right when you pull up flip switch open dumps and the look on their faces when the exhaust note changes. priceless. oh well someday.

yeah i don't know about the horsepower increase but i think it would be cool to roll up to an LS1 with the cutout open and scare em. But then when you need it quiet you can run through the stock system.

I am thinking about getting one of these cutouts.

I don't want to get an electric one because there are a lot of complaints of them leaking. Although what size of cutout should i get to mate up to the stock 94 thunderbird exhaust?
