single mid mount?

I’m looking for a simple exhaust on the daily driver. I’m thinking like a single magnaflow mouted right behind the third cat, then a single 2.5” pipe exiting behind the rear wheels with a split tip. Anyone have a similar setup, even if it is split into two pipes out the back? I’m NOT wanting to go the DI/SO or DI/DO route…just want to add something behind the third cat to get some grumble. Anyone got something similar?

I replaced the the third cat and resonator with a dual in single out magnaflow. I had a dyno max cat back system on the car but I have removed the dyno max mufflers and have only the magnaflow in the center. I think it is a great set up personally not real loud, no hwy drone but a nice rumble over stock.

On my 97 cougar I cut of the 3rd cat and put 2 31"thrush glasspacks. Sound pretty mean but DOES drone 1600-almost 2000rpm, only cost me 40 dollars though. So it was definitly worth it.
