Can a Di/Do muffler serve as a H pipe?

Does anyone know if magnaflow's dual in/dual out mufflers are connected on the inside? I want to put my muffler there, but then i wouldnt have much room for an H pipe.
I have never built a dual exhaust but i am under the impresion the H pipe is an important piece of the exhaust.

Yep, there's an X-pipe built into them. If you get one and look through it, you can see how its done.

Not all of them are. The ones noted as "TruX" are. The only 2.5" I found on their website was Model 14468. I question if Model 12468 is not aswell but does not have in its comments. Both seem to be the same spec just one is polished. I have another post in the exhaust section on how to buy them cheap.

A followup. I was referring to mufflers that will fit in the tube without conflict. That info I got from racecougar. You can look up his posts and see the installation.
