Goldbird for sale

I am selling Goldbird: modified 1996 LX:

Renegade (Jim O'Neill) built Short block - Forged Rods, Pistons, (Cobra) Crank, ARP Hardware, Billet Pump, etc.

Renegade (Jim O'Neill) fully massaged NPI heads(these are the last set of NPIs Jim did, and are pretty much identical to the last set JL used), blower cams (I wanna say Crower, but could be Crane).

Ford Racing SVO Intake - PnP by Jim O'Neill and ceramic coated

Kooks Headers - Ceramic Coated

Vortech Polished T-Trim blower - with water tank, pump, AFCO Heat Exchanger, spal fan, Vortech Aftercooler set up.

Lightning Force Performance Pro-Comp Cobra Radiator

Ronal Wheels

Dual Piston Cobra front brake kit

Bilstein Shocks all the way around

Eibach Lowering Springs

PI Torque Converter that was totally modified/Reman by Circle D

Cobra 3.73 Aluminum rear

Raxle Half-Shafts

JL Front Braces

Full Custom Welded Roll Cage

Fully Reinforced Welded IRS

W&S Motorsports Infor Panel (rare).

Just to name a few of the highlights.

The motor is on a stand. She needs valves, headwork, a gasket set and a transmission, and needs to be re-assembled..

I am asking $5500, but will consider any offer. I am very motivated to sell and would rather sell her all at once, than part her out. I really want to see her go to someone that will put her back together and drive her.

Any interest??? send me a PM....

-mike

Mike, Each time I see you trying to sell the Goldbird it makes me sad. I watched every inch of the build. I am glad I did not go over the top on the Silver Bird. It is still running strong and super reliable, a real sleeper and still my daily driver. I recently put in a Fluidyne radiator for increased cooling pulling my trailer. Still needs paint and I recently rebuilt the suspension again.
Good luck with the sale and hope you are doing well in warm Florida.

Well, hopefully it comes back to life and continues to rip it up. Put some blood into that one for sure.
Glad to see Dusty's ride is still riding strong, that car had a wonderful feel to it.

Now if I could only get Linky ready for spring.

Scott - Glad to see you still lurking. Been a long time, I had Winston repair the heads up display on my Info Panel a couple of years ago. Life is good, hope you are doing well.

The Silver Bird still turns heads when it rumbles by, people at work notice it, know who drives it and ask me questions about it. Surprising to me with the paint and all the high dollar machines in the parking lot. Not that many of these around any more.

I plan to treat it to a paint job when I retire in a couple of years. For now I commute 50 miles as day, pull the trailer to Talladega twice a year and one or two trips to Florida every year.
