***new Marketplace posting policy as of 12-27-15***

Q: How do I obtain Marketplace access? (Ability to start threads in the Marketplace)
A: See THIS THREAD for details.

  • If you don't have money to buy something, quit wasting the time of these sellers with useless replies for pictures or info of items you have no intention of buying. Don't waist the time of the seller telling them that so and so is selling the same thing for much less.
  • Keep to the topic of the thread. I.E. What the seller is selling. I don't want to see chatter about non-related junk. It will be removed with no warning.

  • You may only bump your sale thread once every 24 hours or more. It gets old seeing threads bumped "every 5 minutes." If I see something bumped more than once within a 24 hour period, I will delete the "bumped' post.
  • Excessive sale thread "bumping" will result in the entire thread being deleted with no notice to the seller or buyers or any other interested parties.

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

How many times have you heard that? I bet a lot.

The reason for this post is this, when you're posting cars or parts for sale, include as many pictures as possible. It is way easier to just post a few pictures of something that it is to describe it.

A suggestion would be this:
  • At least 5 pictures of the interior (full dash, closeup of dash/cluster, drivers seat, pass seat, rear seat)
  • 8 of the exterior (drivers side, pass side, front, back, and 3/4 from each corner)
  • At least 3 pictures of the engine (overall, closeup of right and left side)
  • 4 pictures of the underside (from the front each side and the rear)
That should give your potential buyer a good idea of what your selling, post a price and your pictures and you shouldn't have to type much of anything else.

If you have modified your car, list the modifications and if you have a good maintenance record, list what has been replaced and or repaired.

If you just add a few pictures you will sell your car/part a lot easier and quicker.

Asking price or price range must be included.
