Cleanin under the hood pics!

Well I recently cleaned up under the hood of my 84 Turbo coupe. It wasn't bad but I can really see a difference. Any how enough of the crap how about some pics! Here we go.

Gonna start on the body work soon. Planing on putting a FMIC on there before I paint if. Then back to the 84 hood. I also started to clean up the wheels. Nothing special just your basic 10 holes. Here is a pic after the first cleaning.

I had the tire and stem removed yesterday so I cleaned some more on the wheel.

I'm gonna start on polishing them soon.

Hey!! you're missing 4 cylinders!

Just kidding. I have only worked on 2 of those and I've never seen one that wasn't beat to hell.
one guy brought in one and it had no 2nd or 4th gear, and he drove it like that!

I've come into this world with nothing and still manage to have some of it left.

you don't need to be a mechanic to won a TC, just make sure you have lots of money to spend, thats all....
i can't knock to much on my TC, then engien in it i bought used for 100bucks back in 2002, been in two different cars and still going..96,000 miles later, been knocking for two years from the lower end and still going, but its been 'here and there" car since i got my truck in nov. 2005.

been tons of headaches but once there resolved and spend the money on a good part(s). no problems.

any way back on topic, engien looks good, lots of umm yellow....
what re you using on the wheels, my snowflakes have so much built up on the back side of em...

I used Castrol super clean. I used it 4:1. 4 parts water to 1 part cleaner. Then I also used steel wool on the back side to help knock of the baked on crap.
