Looking at restoring an 84

You might have seen the car in the vid/images forum. The body is a little rough, the interior is great, and the current owner said it has a cracked head. The car was last liscened in 95. I know that I will have to change all fluids, rebuild the whole brake system and maybe a few other things. But I was curious on what other cars I can use the heads off of. I know that all the TC heads will work and that the twin plug cars in the 90's will not, but are there any other cars that will have a compatable head.

BTW, I will most likely rebuild the head using new TC parts.

79-86 heads mustang/ranger/fairmont/cougar/t-bird/merkur/etc just make shure the intake ports are the same as the ones on your intake .

non turbo will be fine as well
but i would have some good valves put in it and do some light porting (bowl work),

Im not sure yet. I won't be able to pick it up for about a week or so. I know it needs a hood, but I think Ill be able to find it in a salvage yard. If anything comes up, Ill let you know.
