Question Hey BogusSVO

Hey,SVO,I just tested my Turbo Coupe's fuel pressure, and it never got above 32PSI.So,In your opinion, what do you think it could be? The fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pump(I believe there are two fuel pumps on the '83-'86 turbo coupes, one in-line,and one in the tank)or something else? Thanks for any help!! Also,I keep getting codes 34 and 41 with the KOER test.Code 34 is for insufficient EGR flow,Because I'm not gettting any vacuum to the EGR. I've traced the vacuum all the way to the EGR vacuum solenoid.I get vacuum up until the vacuum solenoid, but no vacuum after it.Code 41 is for a lean condition. Are these things related? And does anybody have any ideas?Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you test your fuel pressure with the vacume line on the regulator, or off of the regulator?

your EGR flow could just be due to the recall that ford had, they put a check valve in that helped slow the motion of the EGR i believe, and that will sometimes cause that code

as for 41, it could be fuel pressure related, or it could just be a bad O2 sensor

Well,I figured out why the code 34 was happening. The EGR solenoid was dirty, where the plug is.After I cleaned that, the EGR was flowing again.I measured the fuel pressure with the vacuum line on,and I think I made a mistake when I said that the pressure was to low.At idle with the vacuum line on it should be about 32-39 PSI,I think. So anyway,It's all good now.Except for one code,It says the VAM is out of limit. The only mod I have is a K&N Cone filter. So do you know what that could be?Thanks for your feedback!!
