AOD or AODE?
Ok I have a 93 Thunderbird 5.0 LX. I have been told by many different people that I have an AOD transmission, then some people tell me I have an AODE. What did these cars actually have? It is making it interesting to try and find a new torque converter to go with my new 3.73 gears. Also since I am on the subject. What is a good stall for the 3.73's. I have been told 2800-3000. Good brands? Also is there any that are lighter than others? I am kind of trying to do a small weight reduction. I am already trying to find an aluminum drive shaft. But I still haven't established if mark viii driveshafts work with my car yet, may just go custom. Thanks.
