I was at the Ford dealership getting a couple parts and for laughs I asked the service department for a price on converting my existing 3.27 rear end to a trac-lok rear end.. Not an entire pumpkin swap, not an upgrade to 3.73's, but just a quote on using my existing gears, pumpkin, etc and installing whatever was needed to add the trac-lok.
Ready for this...

1996 Braincoated, all Aluminum PI powered and obscenely loud Pearl White Tbird [email protected] AKA Dyrdek.
2013 Black on black FX2 Supercrew Ecoboost F150. Roll onto the scene with the ceiling missing.
The trak lok unit is only about $275 iirc. That's one hell of a lot of labor cost.... even at today's rates.
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
