4r70w

I have a 4R70W, will it fit and work normally in my 1993 Mark VIII ?

The Mark came with a 4R70W but you need to know what year the replacement tranny is. You may need to do some re-wiring and/or sensor swapping.

The 4R70W came out of a 96 V-8 bird

torque converter clutch solenoid

allows trans fluid to flow to the clutch. it is inside the trans

You'll need the markVIII converter as well, the bird trans has a large pattern. I highly suggest not using the original converter over.
