A 8.8 for my 83

So my 83 t-bird has a stock 7.5 and i would like to upgrade to an 8.8 and while i'm at it 3.73s and trac lock.
My question is, what vehicles and years of of vehicles should i look at to find a 8.8 with traction lock? ( not so worried about the gears i can get those changed.)
My other question is, could i swap in the newer IRS axle and subframe with out much adapting?

AFAIK, any 8.8 Fox body axle should go right in.

Joe

It's not a 97 Sport, it just looks like one!

Actually, the axle width on many Fox bodies are different. Measure the width before you buy.
