cooler leaking again

i recently noticed that i was dripping quite a bit of atf from the barbed fittings on my tranny cooler. i replaced the rubber hoses and clamps yesterday, and today after a drive, i could smell it again. i checked the fittings and they are both moist. the clamps are nice and tight. the hoses are not split.

anyone experience anything similar? if it makes a difference, my cooler is positioned so the fittings are pointing towards the driver side.

Did you use transmission hose? It usually comes with the cooler. The clamps I highly suggest going to lowes or home depot and getting the wide stainless steel clamps.

You are using the wrong hose. Fuel hose will turn to mush when used with transmission fluid.
