M50d-r1 Vs. M5r2

ok so i hae a quick question... im plaining on swapping an 89 3.8l supecharged motor out of a supercoupe into my 91 ranger... the ranger has an M50D-R1 and the SC had an M5R2 what are the differnces in the belhousing boltpaterns? are they the same? ive been loking everywere and i think they are but im not 100% sure...

Not only is the shifter in the wrong place, but it's weaker than the R2.

Needs more stall.

the ranger has a 60 degree v6 and the t bird has a 90 degree v6 bellhousings are different. I wanted to do the same thing on my 4x4 it looked like to much work for me. In a 2 wheel drive ranger it would be a walk in the park.
