Cool driveshaft confusion

My 95 LX developed this dreaded driveshaft vibration that everybody has talked about. So I used this problem to finally put the Mark VIII in. I bought an unpainted 2 piece aluminum shaft from a suposed 95 model year. Is there any way to identify what I bought. The original ford tag (paper?) is just a shadow. there are #s on the shaft but not fords. Did I waste my money?

I believe only the shafts from the 93 MarkVIII were 1 piece. I could be wrong though...

Yup, 93 Mk VIII is the one you need, one piece, direct fit.
