We talking about WOT here? 1st expires at around 40MPH on my Speedo, 2nd shifts at 75, but the redline is actually closer to 80. 3 would probably run out someplace near 100 or more, but since I've got my stock speed limiter and ****ty tires, I don't know.

well, not WOT, mine shifts somewhere in the early teens, 26mph, and about 39.5mph lol. that's easy throttle.

Yeah,, this brings me to my reason for being in the forum:
At easy throttle,, my auto shifts into 3rd at 34,, 4th at 44.. (this with
slightly smaller than stock tires..)

This is a problem for me because (though I am reasonably satisfied
with my 25-27 MPG on the highway) much of my 11 mile daily
commute occures at 30 mph (2nd gear) and 40 mph (3rd gear)..

This situation eats gas fiercely..

On police cars the crusing speed is 55, anything slower and you burning $$$. I once tried explaining this to police officer, it still cost me $$$ for 71 in 35.

Hard throttle off the light: 1-2 at ~37, 2-3 at ~75, 3-4 button released at ~105. I have 26.1 diameter tires, less than stock.

What you can do is sit back and relax, avoid uncessary use of brake.
