Manual Trac Loc

Will the trac loc from the manual trans super coupe rearend out of a 89 super coupe work in our cars? I didnt know if it would make a diffrence being from a manual trannt and going to and auto car..

I'm not familiar with the term manual trac loc.

Are you referring to the 8.8 Trac-Loc Rearend?

If so then yes it is a direct swap.

The next question would be why would you want to do such a thing?

You have from the factory either 3.08 open rear end or 3.27 trac loc that was the option.

All m5r2 equipped supercoupes had a 2.73 rear.

It would be like going backwards in the performance department.

I have new Ford Racing 3.73 Trac Loc Aluminum pumpkins for $540 plus shipping, let me know if you are intersted in one.

Ive already got the 3.73's to swap out of the pumpkin. Thanks though. The pumpkin has 60,000 on it and I got it for $125.00
