upgrading halfshafts

I'm getting the frpp 3.73 rear end. So I started looking into upgrading the halfshafts, I sent a couple of e-mails to raxles but got no reply from them.
I did a search and found a post that says they are not making half shafts for us anymore, but his may change in the future, does anyone knows if the are making them again?
If not I read another option is to use the right halfshafts from a 5 spd SC, which is bigger, however most of the failures I read about are joint related, so does this bigger shaft offers any advantages vs. the V8 shafts?

I talked to them a few weeks ago and he said they were out of something.

Cost was about $500 for a pair.
