drill specs for mechanical diode (98 tranny)...needed?

It failed to occur to me that when I was drilling my 98 seperator plate to Jerry's specs that I had the mechanical diode in there. So the tranny is all put together and in the car right now with the wrong drillings. Will it hurt anything if there's just a hole where a slot should be? I'll redo it eventually but not for probably another 3-4 months. If it's absolutely necessary I will tear into it this weekend. Thanks.

I doubt it would hurt it, the reason the mechanical diode gets a slot and the roller clutch doesn't is because the diode is a lot stronger than the roller unit. I didnt bother cutting a slot in mine, just made the hole bigger.
