Steel Plate Relacement?

The steel plates within the transmission (between the friction plates) can be reused if they're not scored, correct? Or is it a good idea to replace them when you rebuild a tranny. Thanks guys.

You can reuse them but they are cheap and usually its cheaper in the long run to just replace them, Larry
