I've had an Auburn Pro in my bird for 6 years no problems.
I had a Ford LSD installed in my 1990 Grand Marquis 18 months ago. 2 months ago, it grenaded itself. I was driving slowly and BOOM, drivetrain locked up. $800 repair costs.

heres my take on this, i have a auburn pro in my f150 i love it! no issues at all, i havent had any issues with it at all, now cars are less abusive than trucks, and most ford traclocks hold up pretty darn well. i have on in my cougar with no issues and i had one in my other cougar . but my truck is another story , the orginal lasted to 90,000 and then it scatered on me due to lock pin , the second lasted a whole 5 months and destroyed itself, but also my truck is turning 35x12.50 x15 mtrs.

A Trac-Loc has clutches, a (Detroit) Locker has no clutches.

Don't waste your money on a regular Auburn. If you want an Auburn, get the Auburn Pro!!!!!!!
