Mark 8: Drive Shaft Question

I have a 91 3.8L with blown hg's. Soon i will be swapping out the 3.8L for a HO. Now i read somewhere that the Mark 8 driveshaft will not work with a 3.8L. How can I make this work for for the HO?

Everyday of my life is a constant fight, between wrong and right.

When there is no grass on the field, go around back and play in the mud.

whats your reason for getting a mk8 DS? if its for weight reduction, theres not much difference in the mk8 and AOD DS as far as weight goes. you are better off using your stock DS.

where did you read that the mk8 DS wont fit? someone around here with a 3.8 did this DS swap (jim i think?).

Jim did get one in, barely with his 7.5 rear end. RancherLee couldn't get one of Dennis Reinhart's DS in his car last year and his has an 8.8. The 4.6 DS is about an inch longer than the 3.8 DS.
