before i went that far with a f150 like yours, i would look into regromming the psom and making sure its got the right code for your tires your running and your gear ratio. i did it to mine and boy what a huge difference, now my truck is a 351, e4od , 4.56 gear, 35 inch rubber, and it made a huge differance in the way the trans shifted and straight out performance, and gets actually somewhat reasonable fuel economy. the speedo, computer and transmission are all tied together on the 92+ f series trucks, its supposed to make it react better to driving/loads condtions, thats what i was taught in ford tech school.
