Trans lines question

Hi folks, trying to finish up my turd for the new race reason (new shortblock, etc) and was hooking up the hard trans lines to the actual transmission. The issues that I'm having is that one of the lines goes in no problem, however, the top line I can't get in (can't get the bolt to actually go on). Is there a tool or something to make this process easier? It's kind of hard for me to get my hand in there with the longtube in the way

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you happen to swap trans, too? Are the threads ok? Is it like at an angle that it hasn't been at before?? A little more info on that one and maybe I can help. I went through the whole trans line deal on a '73 Maverick w/ 5.0 and AOD swap and Hedman Headers long tubes. I couldn't get my hands in between the headers to get to the trans lines easily so I took the headers off and then got the lines on.
