What Gears?

Simple ?, I want to know what gears u guys think are best.
I have a 4.6 v-8 t-bird(97) with glasspacks, K&N FIPK.
Are 4.10's to drastic? will 3.73's give me the kick I want?

Do you drive this car everyday? Do you drive on the highway? if so, i think that 4.10's would be too much for that.

4.30's all the way. Don't fear the gear.

Do you put alot of miles on your car?

I like my 3.73s. If you drive highway they're the best. I can't imagine 4 hour + trips at 2700+ RPMs... unless you're buying the gas.

2309 - 3.73
2538 - 4.10
@70

200 rpm between the two ratios. I would go with the 4.10s. The car is heavy and torque moves the car. There shouldn't be hardly (if any) difference between the two gears (in gas mileage) in steady state on the highway. If your foot gains ten pounds in the city then your gas mileage should suffer some.
