97 trans

i picked up a 97 trans the guy i got it from said it had traction control? how do i by pass or make it work with my 95 car? thanks for the help Tim

Traction control works through the abs not the trans. You just need to swap tcc solenoids.

so if i take the tcc solenoid out of the 95 trans and put it on the 97 i'll be ok?

Yes....

And while you're dropping the pan to swap the tcc solenoids, consider replacing the 1-2 and 2-3 accumulators and 1-2 top spring with the updated ones from Ford.

i did that on a 94 last summer. that is a go along with the drilling of the plate, deep pan w/drain and a cooler thanks for the insite Tim

TCC solenoid is a $28.00 part...buy a new one. Just be sure to get the YEAR OF YOUR CAR, not the trans....(in this case...a 95)
