VB weight

I'm trying to get a shipping quote for Rodeo Joe.

Anyone know the weight of a 96 4r70w valve body?

I'm stuck at work with the wife out of town and can't get her to do it.

Thanks,
Rob

I'd say 12-15 Lbs. Feels about the same weight as the reverse drum w/ the mech. diode attached. Just a guess tho...

These are highly engineered precision vehicles, the first step in diagnosing the problem is to strike the suspected offending part sharply and repeatedly with a blunt object, then re-test.

Thank you for the reply. That's about what I was thinking but was hoping someone had actually shipped one and remembered the weight.

Well, if you need a closer guess, wait until I get home tonight (around 6:30) and I can weigh the one on my work bench, as I have one out already. I'll post the weight later. Even though its an 01, it should be close to the same.

Thank you for the offer, but I can do that also. I was wanting to call the UPS store and get him a quote while they were open. I guess he'll just have to wait until tomorrow.

Thanks for the replies folks. It turned out to be 11.85 lbs, including the packaging. So the rough estimate for shipping I gave him yesterday was higher than the actual shipping price. He'll like that.
