Filter life

tried search, couldn't quite find what iwas looking for.

well any way: about a month ago i rebuilt my trans and while i was at it i installed a B&M 24,000 GVM cooler, a B&M inline tranny filter, and trany temp gauge with dual senders. I tossed the p.o.s. B&M filter and used a FL1A. my question is how many miles till i need a new filter? should i do it say, everytime i change my oil (4,000-5,000 miles) or change it at the recommend interval for the internal trany filter?

also: custom gauge pod

I change my oil filter everytime I change my oil. I change the trans filter everytime I change the tranny fluid.
