What is the same between a 99 Cobra IRS vs. Mark VIII IRS?? - TCCoA Forums

What is the same between a 99 Cobra IRS vs. Mark VIII IRS??

The reason I' asking is because I'm looking to order bushings for the complete IRS assembly.

Now I realize the subframe part is different so the body mount bushings are Tbird Specific. But I dont want to order from MN12 or SCP because they are highly overpriced (please dont flame me for being cheap)

I know mustang cobra IRS parts are becoming largely common and lower costs make them more to my liking.

So whats interchangeable?

The diff case,and the IRS bushings.

Why is the diff case different?? I thought the FRPP pumpkin was interchangle able between the Mark VIII and Cobra,, as I thought even that was a stock mark VIII piece?

wait,, unless you mean thats all thats interchangeable.

wish I had a pic of them side by side.

Hmmm...you ask this question...and he answered it.

JL's chassis braces, ST springs w/ 1 coil cut in rear (27.2" F 28" R), Airlift airbags (5 psi), Bilstein shocks, Cobra brakes F & R, ROH RT 17x9s, 255/285s Khumo Ecsta MX tires, 2.5" dual exhaust w/borla mufflers, 1 3/8 f & r bars, remote filter,subframe buildup, Al differential bushings, J-modded '02 tranny, 9.5" DD stall, 30K Hayden cooler, PI intake, 02 GT MAF, XCal 2
