tranny question

I searched for this, but couldn't find the information I was looking for. I just got my car back from the shop(click here for the story) . I was driving it home, and i hit the OD button. There was no light. I went up to 50mph, and hit the OD button. Nothing. The dealership installed a new shifter cable, so I'm a little confused. Any input would be very welcome

fixed it. I popped the console off and saw that one of the harnesses was unhooked. Thirty-five second fix.

Are you saying that the dealership installed a new shift cable, INSTEAD of hooking back up the wireing harness? Didn't they notice that the new cable DIDN'T fix the problem?
