Creaking noise

Lately I have noticed a creaking noise when I first start driving in the mornings. It seems to come from the right front tire. It seems to go away after driving for a while. The previous owner put new shocks on before I got the car a few years ago. Any thoughts?

I am as mechanically inclined as Hellen Keller is with a Rubik's Cube!

Do you have poly bushings? If so they have a tendance to creak in the cold. Check your upper control arms real well too
