New trans and Torque Converter Installed

This weekend I made a trip to Cincinnati to have my Trans with shift kit and 3200 PI TQ replaced with a Custom Bulletproof trans built by Darrin and one of Alan's (Dirtyd0g) 3200 TQ's.

They do great work and also installed a speed cal and Trans Cooler. This is how I wanted my car to drive in the first place, a combo that gave me aggressive shifts with a 3200 stall that will stand racing. These guys are very helpful and treated both me and my car with respect (hard to find) I would highly recommend working with them.

Thanks guys!

Karl

Thanks Karl!
I am glad we could get you in this weekend thanks to a schedule change. I need to go get the transmission for that car done now that the parts are here.
Just so everyone knows, I don't like the "bulletproof" word. This transmission is far better than the crap that came out of one particular shop in Florida who abused that word. I really don't want this one confused with an all out j-spec tranny either. I talked with him at length and we decided on something a little different for this car since he plans to road race as well as run on the strip. It will see a lot of downshifts and I kept that in mind when deciding what to build. This one also has different clutch stacks than the full j-spec transmission out of concern for heat and friction.
I will post a little more detail when I am a lot more awake. Between his car and my truck, this weekend wiped me out.
I had a weekend open up that I wanted to fill and boy we did that, LOL.
