418 stroker 450+hp. What should I do to the tranny?

I'm building a 418 stroker and I will have about 450+ NA HP and I might nitrous it or turbo it later. I have an extra 95 aode and an extra 98 4r70w in the garage. In my current trans I have a 95 with a mech diode and a 99+ main control. I'm pretty sure the 98 has a mech diode but I haven't taken it apart yet. I plan on driving this daily. I have a Blue Plate special kit I got for a little over $100. I have read tranny 101 and I would like to know if it will be ok to use the blue clutches and any suggestions on a setup would be great.

98+ has the mech diode.

Use the motorcraft clutches.

Why the motorcraft over the blue plate clutches?
